The World's Most Pregnant Olympian...

When Nur Suryani Mohamed Taibi, the Malaysian shooter shall compete at the Royal Artillery Barracks for the London Olympics on 28 July in the 10-meter women's air rifle competition, she will be this Olympics' most pregnant woman to have ever participated.

At least three expectant mothers have competed at the Olympics before, but Suryani will be the most pregnant athlete to have taken part. She is in her eighth month of pregnancy and hopes to return to Malaysia to deliver her daughter with an Olympic gold in hand.

The 30-year-old naval officer is ranked 47th in the world but she has a gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2010, and a bronze at the Asian Games.
